Weymouth College Boys Football Academy 2010/2011
The first half term of the 2010/2011 season has seen the College Football Academy record 2 wins, 2 draws and a defeat from  their 5 competitive matches played so far in the British Colleges League and Dorset Cup.
The results and goal scorers so far have been as follows;
BCS League - Bridgewater (away) 3 -3                     Evans (2), Mitchell
BCS League – City of Bristol (home) 0 – 6
Dorset Cup – Bournemouth (away) 4 – 0                               Austin, Lucas (2), Brown
BCS League – Wiltshire (away) 4 – 4                         Jenkins (2), Lucas, Mitchell (pen)
BCS League - Weston (home) 3 – 2                          Gould, Jenkins (2)
Every game has contained plenty of goals and incidents, at times our football has been of a very high standard and pleasing to the eye, we must also acknowledge that our opponents have also played well especially City of Bristol who were excellent on the day and well worth their victory.
It is very difficult to pick out individual performances as a key part of our good start to the season has been that every member of the squad has made a valuable contribution.  This has helped to develop a good team ethic that will hopefully grow still stronger as the season progresses.  The fact we already have 7 different goal scorers emphasises this point.  Further evidence is provided by the team coming from behind in the last 5 minutes of both away games to secure a draw rather than face the journey home empty handed.
The next period of matches begins with another away cup draw this time against Gillingham on Wednesday 3rd November in the last 16 of the Dorset Schools Cup. Following this is a home BCS League fixture at home to Wiltshire College Salisbury on the 10th, then an away BCS Cup local derby at Kingston Maurward on the 17th November.
There is a lot to look forward to and hopefully we can continue with the same spirit, producing entertaining, winning football.
